Wall Substation with 3 Direct Dial Buttons – AB709 Description
The Wall Substation with 3 Direct Dial Buttons AB709 is a substation for wall mounting with 3 call buttons plus one cancelling button, “X”. The buttons can easily
be programmed to offer a number of different call functions.
Direct call alternatives to the following numbers are available, starting from the top button and down:
Alt. 1: 11, 12 and 13
Alt. 2: 11, 12 and “Emergency Call”
Alt. 3: 21 (X + 11), Program Distribution (X + 12) and 23 (X + 13)
Alt. 4: 21 (X + 11), Program Distribution (X + 12) and “Emergency Call”
Alt: 5: 13, 16 and 19
Alt. 6: 23, 26 and 29
Alt. 7: 33, 36 and 39
Alt. 8: 43, 46 and 49
The conversation can be cancelled by pressing the “X” button, or can be limited to 30 seconds via switch programming, if nobody is answering the call.
The call will then be automatically disconnected after 30 seconds
The station can receive incoming calls from all the stations in the system. The AA708 consists of a processor and software and shall not be connected to an exchange. All programming is performed via switches inside the station, by following an easy instruction.
The cable layout is very flexible. All stations are wired in parallel in a star or bus configuration. Minimum 2 pairs twisted cable are required, 1 pair for conversation and display data, one pair for DC supply voltage.
An optional 3rd pair can be installed for program distribution (radio).
An external 20 ohms horn loudspeaker can be connected if a higher volume is required.
